Adding field to rural diorama

Posted on 2024-12-052026-02-14 by rmolins

I want to create a field in my diorama. I will start with cardboard and remove the top layer. This will be the base.

After cutting to size, I glued the cardboard to the base, and painted with glue mix with water all the surface to add brown mud. For some reason, the glue had some white stains after drying in some regions.

Next step is to improve the corners, add some fences and add the plants. I choose to use small wooden sticks glued together as the fence and paint them using acrylics. One mistake was to use PVA glue. It dries up transparent but paint it has a smooth finish. Paint does not stick well to this finish.
